Wir hatten hier in Wahlhausen ein gnadenlos sanierungsbedürftiges Haus gekauft, waren im November 2000 hier eingezogen, viel Idealismus im Gepäck.
Das ist mittlerweile fast 17 Jahre her, es hat sich hier viel verändert. Und das nicht nur am Haus und am Grundstück.
Wir führen hier ein alternatives Leben, allerdings nicht ohne Wasser und ohne Strom, hier geht es um Selbstverwirklichung auf vielen Ebenen !!!
Alternativ bedeutet hier: losgelöst von den „üblichen“ Tretmühlen. Das mit dem Loslösen, das ist gar nicht so einfach!
Jugendarbeit machen wir immer noch, auch hier haben sich Spuren eingegraben.
Am 23. April 2008 hatten wir hier unser Gartencafé Pias Radlerrast eröffnet.Hier gibt´s jetzt regionale Spezialitäten einmal anders.
2009 war dann dem Genehmigungsverfahren, der Planung und dem Einbau der vollbiologischen Kleinkläranlage vorbehalten.Die Sanierung und die Neugestaltung der Gaststätte ist in vollem Gange, am 01. Mai 2010 wurde neu eröffnet.
Was dann folgte, würde ich mal umschreiben wollen mit dem Bild des Suchenden im vermeintlich bekannten Terrain.Manches, was man da findet, mag zwar bekannt erscheinen, ist bei genauem Hinsehen aber doch neu. Und sowas will geordnet sein.
Die Gaststätte ist jetzt fertig, so wie sie sein soll. Das wird in den nächsten Jahren unser neuer Lebensinhalt werden.
Ja, mit dem Umbauen sind wir durch. Jetzt hätten wir gerne mehr Zeit mit unserem Hund Bonna verbracht. Das wird nicht mehr klappen, denn Bonna ist am 07. Mai 2013 verstorben.
Kurze Zeit später kam dann Kater Frizzi für drei Jahre her, verstarb aber leider am 1. August 2016. Ende 2013 hatte sich noch für zwei Monate Kater Walter dazugesellt, der hat aber am 11. November Suizid begangen und sich vor ein Auto geworfen. Hört sich bescheuert an, war aber irgendwie so. Walter war sehr alt, sich selbst wohl zu alt für ein weiteres Leben.

Man hat uns hier übers Jahr eine neue Straße hingebaut, Radlerrast hatten wir nicht geöffnet, das hätte sich nicht gelohnt.
Dafür gab es kostenfrei viel Lärm, viel Dreck und Matsch und etliches Durcheinander hinsichtlich der Verkehrsführung.
Die Baumaßnahmen sind im Ort weiter gezogen, werden uns aber voraussichtlich noch bis Mitte 2019 begleiten. Vor unserer Tür ist allerdings jetzt erstmal wieder Ruhe eingekehrt.
